Vans Downtown Showdown Europe Results
European skate teams Clich é, Blueprint, Heroin, Alai, Trap and Element descended upon Turin, Italy last weekend to compete in the first gathering for Vans Downtown Showdown Europe. To set off the event with a bit of heritage and style, the top deck of the world renowned Lingotto building (formerly the Fiat factory and test track) was designated as the shred zone with a spectacular view of the city below.
Among the a crowd of 300+ invited guests, Steve Van Doren, Tony Alva and Ray Barbee were on the scene to watch the energized skate jams go down upon three unique obstacles while Danny Wainwright, Nic Powley, Raul Fernandez, David Couliau, and Alexis Jauzion held down the judging duties.
